Ever heard of the Rally Obedience dog training? This team sport for dogs is gaining popularity. The reason? Dogs of all breeds can practice it! Because the focus of Rally Obedience dog training is not the physical strength.
This fairly new dog sport combines elements from traditional obedience in a fun course that needs to be completed in a fast but very precise manner. During practice, you learn that this sport is all about giving your dog the right motivation to perform the right command at the right time. The team focuses on developing communicative strategies to fulfill tasks and complete a course. Rally-O can be practiced at agonistic level. No matter the level at which you practice Rally Obedience, the key to success is to learn how to sync your pace with your dog’s.
Together we will learn all about the novice class signs and work up to running a full novice course by the AKC.
We will met on September 12, 19, 26 and October 3 and 10 for our inperson sessions in Doha. The first session will be held via Zoom video call to lay out the theoretical foundation that is needed for our future sessions.
