Course Description:
What would you do if your dog got into a car accident? Do you know how to stabilize your dog to transport to the vet? No, then it is time for a course on first aid for dogs.
There are many emergencies that may arise at home or out on a walk involving our dogs. In those moments it is important to be fully prepared in order to act quickly and effectively – you could save your dog’s life.
This workshop covers all the key aspects of dog first aid. For example how to care for an unconscious dog to commonly occurring injuries and illnesses such as choking, bleeding, fitting, poisoning and much more.
We will meet at Advanced Veterinary Center on Friday, 20 January 2023 at 8.30am. Dogs are welcome to join but only if they are able to settle calmly during class (guardians must leave with their dog if class gets interrupted).
